Emily and I just returned from a little jaunt to our local market. I don't think this market is heavily visited by foreigners and we were feeling stares upon entering. The thing about Thailand, unlike Europe, is that the stares are friendly. People are very anxious to say 'thank you' to us after we purchase fruit or veggies from them. Our market is fairly small, but has everything from Tupperware and socks to live fish and curry.
Notice the load of chili peppers. Next to the chili are the mushrooms they often cook with.
This stand was full of Thai desserts.
I love the packaging here, everything comes in these bags!
A market would not be complete without fish. Lots and lots of fish.
